Nathaniel Ferguson, Lead Pastor
Pastor Nathaniel was born and raised in Morgantown, West Virginia. He attended Mount Vernon Nazarene University in Mount Vernon, Ohio, where he met his wife, Laura. They were married in 2001 and are the proud parents of three daughters: Reagan, Reese, and Rowan. Pastor Nathaniel graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Religion at MVNU. From there he studied theology at Northeastern Seminary in Rochester, NY where he graduated with a Master of Arts. He came on staff as the Associate Pastor at the Springwater Church of the Nazarene in August 2004. Prior to becoming the lead pastor in September 2016, he served in various roles at Heritage Christian Services in Rochester, NY. Pastor Nathaniel enjoys being outdoors, reading, listening to the Dave Ramsey show, following the West Virginia Mountaineers (football and basketball) and Pittsburgh Pirates baseball. He, Laura, and the girls enjoy spending time together playing board games, going for walks, and vacationing in Disney World.
Erica Baer, Administrative Assistant
Erica was born in Buffalo, New York and spent her school years in the Alfred-Almond area. She attended Davis and Elkins College in Elkins, West Virginia. While attending college, she met her husband John and they married in 1994. They are the proud parents of three children: Sierra, Shelby, and Isaiah and two grandsons, Milo and Charlie. Erica has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Davis and Elkins College. She has worked for the West Virginia Department of Natural Resources, Discovery Place Museum in Charlotte, North Carolina, and the Dansville Central School District. In May 2016, she started working as Secretary for the Springwater Church of the Nazarene. Erica enjoys hiking, downhill skiing, reading, cooking and walking the family dog Jack.
